 TRAINING DAYS

Ongoing Training: For one afternoon per month we focus on clinical and staff development and training, and during this time the surgery will be closed. If you require medical assistance during this time please dial NHS 111.

The surgery works closely with West Cumbria Carers and Gillian the support worker - if you would like more information, please ask any member of the surgery team who can help you.

SHARED RECORDS

Improving your care

Health services in Furness are introducing 'shared records'. Shared records allow health professionals to share some limited information from your medical records with other health services that provide you with care. For more information please pick up a 'changes to your medical records' leaflet from the surgery. more information is also available at www.cumbria.nhs.uk

Team Secretary

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and proactive Medical Secretary to carry out a wide and varied range of duties within Waterloo House Surgery. You must possess the skills to work within a team or on your own. The post holder must have a commitment to supporting the service and be actively involved with cross cover, and have a flexible approach to the role. You must possess good IT skills. We expect the candidate to demonstrate a high level of communication skills both written and verbal and be able to work in a highly confidential environment.

The post-holder’s main responsibility will be to provide a comprehensive and efficient secretarial service to the GP’s and patients. Experience in a secretarial or administrative role is essential.

A job specification can be found on Waterloo House Surgery’s website and will be sent out to those who are successful in gaining an interview.

This is a 30hr per week post across 5 days.

Salary is dependent on experience and will be discussed at interview.

The post will close at Midnight 30th January 2019 or when a sufficient number of suitable applications are received.
